Two different shooters are released on PlayStation Plus this month: one set in & # 39; outer space and the other in & # 39; t past.

Earlier this week, it was suspected that Insomniac's Spsom-Man game would be one of June's free PlayStation Plus titles.

That turned out not to be the case, but players can still enjoy two of & # 39; the greatest first-person shooters of & # 39; e console.

The first we already knew about – Call Of Duty: World War 2 – that Sony did not confirm too long ago and is already available for download now.

If you prefer your wars with more of a sci-fi aesthetic, you can look forward to the inclusion of Star Wars: Battlefront 2.

Battlefront 2 was formerly notorious for its use of microtransactions and lootboxes, which earned it almost universal contempt, but once the earlier ones were released, the game became a very enjoyable multiplayer game and benefited from years of solid support from developer DICE.

Battlefront 2 will be available from Tuesday, June 2, and both it and Call Of Duty: World War 2 will remain free until July 6.

The free games of May – Cities: Skylines and Farming Simulator 19 – are also available for download, but you only have until Monday, June 1 to do so.

With no mention of Spider-Man, it seems likely that the mention that it suggested it was a free PlayStation Plus title would have been just a glitch.
