Barcelona boss Quique Setien has made it clear he would love to have both Lautaro Martinez and Miralem Pjanic in his field, and praises the Serie A duo amid speculation they are heading to Camp Nou.

The Catalan club is keen to strengthen their side during the summer transfer window and is believed to be in talks with Juventus about a swap for 30-year-old midfielder Pjanic.

As part of the deal, Juve is considering taking Nelson Semedo, Ivan Rakitic or Arturo Vidal in exchange, while the Bosnian has now set his heart to persuade Barca despite interest from other European giants.

A deal for Martinez is also thought to be close, with reports in his native Argentina suggesting that Barca had agreed to pay a fee equivalent to his release clause, but with a player who doesn't go the other way to lower the value of the money.

And Setien has now confirmed that he is a big fan of both players and believes they are at the required level to play for Barca.

& # 39; We are all clear that there are four or five footballers who play in his position that are extraordinary and that one of them has what it costs to play for Barcelona , & # 39; said Setien beIN Sports.

& # 39; In reference to this player, he is a player who can be very good in this team, as well as the others who may not be at his level. & # 39;

At Pjanic, he went on: 'I've always said that I love great players and that he is a fine talent. This applies to many players who are not affiliated with the club via the press. & # 39;

Barcelona is also linked to a move to bring Neymar back to Camp Nou, with the rumors that it will continue despite the financial ramifications of & # 39; the coronavirus crisis, and Setien glares in his praise of & # 39; a Brazilian.

He added: 'Without a doubt I would like to train Neymar one day. Absolutely. He is a player who is at an exceptional level, no one can doubt that.

'I have already fulfilled the dream of coaching the best in the world, that is Leo (Messi). As far as people coming in, we will have to see, but I would be happy. & # 39;
